Anyone stayed anywhere near Southport?

Any recommendations appreciated

You can drive onto Ainsdale beach of an evening and stay for an hour or two......;)

If it's more than a night or two Volkswigan use one in Croston for GOTH that isn't too far away.

haha why would you want to be here!? there's a travelodge on ocean plaza if that's any help? or there's leisure-lakes off the Tarleton bypass, literally a spit from Sowie.

volkswigan show was next door to the royal umpire caravan park, theres a caravan club site just past the pleasure beach on beach road easily walking distance from southport

the volkswigan show was on the royal umpire site. It was on their rally field. That as why you could use their facilities.

The problem with the caravan club site is you have to be a member

there is the leisure lake the river side and another one all down the A59 between Southport and Preston there is one in Tarleton down the bottom of plox brow but not sure if its just for residents or not or just by the canal in the same place
