sorry to sound like a plank but how do they attach to the wheel? is it the ones that clip onto the wheel bolts (like on the mk3) or is it onto the lip on the wheel itself??

Its been 15years since my last Mk1, pretty sure it was via clips. Hubcaps mounting to the bolts is a very modern thing for plastic hubcaps

sorry mate you have put polo and golf but the centre caps are different

just thought i would let you know

yup... one or the other is deeper with a deep ridge (cant remember what one tho ??? ) ive got some santana ones which are the same as a golf im told...

so if they are golf ones you have then they will fit, mk2 coupe (polo steels) santanas, passats (early...)

Yep, golf and passat (mk1's) are the same. They may fit mk2 coupes and santana's too.
