Sweeney - there is a 930 in red on eBay in the north or £9500. Part way through rebuild and paint so needs careful consideration but for a tinkerer or your quality it shouldn't bee too much of a challenge. Cheap way into a turbo.

Saw that - looks a decent project.

I scour the all the usual suspect website classifieds daily getting a handle on what cars are advertised for, and if on ebay, what they actually sell for to give me a good handle on the market condition when I can afford to pull the trigger.

My barrier at the moment is funds. I'm fully invested in shares at the moment which will fund the car, and now isn't the best time to pull them out. They've volatile penny shares that are up and down like a yo-yo. As soon as they head north a touch, I'll be in the market like a crack whore looking for a fix at 4am.

Still fancy a bone stock cherished 'B' spec SC, but if a mechanically sound but cosmetically challenged project comes along in the form of a 964 or a mid 70's car at the right price, I fancy a '74 RSR stripped out jobbie.
