my mates beetle whats it worth?
My mate is thinking of selling or trying to do a px with another aircooled but asked me whats it worth. I have not got a clue it has a 1600cc tp enginge lowered all round 11 months mot. It is solid bug not a prize winner just clean and simple, thats all i know for now. So what do you reckon it's worth? this is the only pic i have sorry

Without knowing anything more than that really hard to give a decent valuation, whats the engine like? miles its done? original? braking? suspension? Solid original or solid repaired? bodywork excellent/good/average/poor etc? interior?
I would say a half decent bug of this age is £2500-£3000k but thats assuming a hell of a lot, if its immaculate you could push to maybe £4k but would have to back it up with history. Bugs arent selling for huge sums these days, especially a basic 70's bug.
