Go with the flow.I always said that I don't want a party...until one year there was a surprise party for me.I was delighted that a lot of people that I hadn't seen in a long time turned up.It was the best night ever.
I think that a lot of folk don't hold parties due to the fact that they fear no-one will show up.
Tricky one as people say they dont want a party, but would love one, and others that really dont want one. If he really is of the not wanting one, do they know that? If so then I agree its not on
i'd be pissed off. especially as i've already given about five years notice that all i want for my 40th is plane tickets to New York and three nights in a nice boutique hotel
Anyone that wants to throw me a party is welcome to. Just as long as I am not involved in setting up or clearing up afterwards then I would be well happy.
My parents planned a surprise party for my 21st, even roped my best mate in on the plan! I said I DIDN'T want a party ('cos I know they'd only have embarressed the fuck out of me). As it turned out, the party didn't go ahead, which is just as well 'cos I would have picked up my car keys and fucked off out for the night.:tick:
