Default '72 bug interior re-fit project

Been followin' a few projects on VZi and thought I might chart the progress of a planned interior re-fit of my '72 bug. I'm changing the XR3i front and rear seats. Keeping the Xr front seats and replacing the rears for original VW and then having the whole re-trimmed in coffee n cream tuck n roll style. The door panels have already been trimmed, I've got a replacement headlining and carpet. Just got to get down to doing it, the car's in a barn waiting!!

I hope this might be of interest to some of you out there - if not well hey......

Hurrah, got my MOT - the old girl passed yesterday - another 12 month reprieve from the big breakers yard eh?

Have to say, the tester was very understanding regarding older stuff and let a few things go (binding f/r brakes, loose wheel bearings, sttering linkage fouling bodywork, headlights out of alignment [sits toooo low] etc) with an advisory rather than fail which is fookin great really.

Now you'll want to know where etc

Keen & Eager , Woodlands Biz Park, Maidenhead 01628 828175 MOT was only £40 as well.

The bug's back in the barn today ready for a strip down over the weekend.

Laterz
