So far today I've dropped off my rock & roll bed with Jack Smith & my driver seat, they should be ready next week.
I also dropped off my alternator & starter motor with Shorts Electrical & they should be ready next week too.
The guy on the desk said the drive mech was knackered on the starter so good job I dropped it down really.
Still not sure whether to remove the gear box or not?

Right after a lot of fiddling I managed using my power file to get the snaped bolt off the strap & fitted a new one in. The tank is now bolted down, I put some more waxoyl on cos I'm not going to see it for 30 years again hopefully,

Waxoyled the inside of the cover too & the screw heads after I fited it, thats one big job finished out the way, just got to fit the insection hatch cover now.

As you can see the gearbox is now bolted back up with its new mountings & freshly painted cradle.

Looks great mate, my engine bay is not painted properly yet, but yours looks great from here.

Cheers M8, I can't wait to get the outside painted now, I think I'll buy some new back lights for a minute untill I get around to makint the LED ones, I'll get my new oil cooler on Tuesday so then I'll beable to re-build my engine.
