well figured id start a new post since ive not updated the old one since last year! this is my ongoing rolling project bad luck betty! i gave her a bit of a mechanical resto last year when i got her and having driven her for a while now i've decided to make a few alterations before the summer gets here!
theres not a lot of visible changes going on except a new set of wheels! anyway she looked like this....
she's running 4 stud disk brakes all round, a 5" narrowed front beam, dropped spindles, and a hurst line loc,
inside its pretty stock except a berg shifter, a monster tacho,
and a nice old woodrim wheel, out back there was a warm 1914cc which i had planned to turbo but it never really got past the thinking about it stage and ive decided i like the bark of the twin carbs so its now on the bench being made into a pretty nice 2109cc,
engine spec for anyone intrested...
2109cc
cb 044 cnc super magnums (42 x 37),
case full flowed and slightly clearanced,
cb 76mm stroker crank,
lightened flywheel (crank and flywheel ballanced)
scat H beam rods,
mahle 94mm b&p's,
engle fk10 cam,
steel straight cut gears,
extra deep sump,
dell 45's on matchported inlets,
CR is about 9.4:1
theres just a couple more jobs to do before its ready to go back in, ive sorted out the rocker geometry and ive just gotta cut the pushrods to length! and bolt the sump etc back up!
the box is just getting some new rhino mounts and its going back in! had a nice cruising speed so it'll do for the summer till i can afford a nice rancho box..
and i got the wheels ive been after for a while! some nice 3.5 & 5.5 pollished centerlines

fronts have some worryingly skinny firestone's on, 125 15's and rears are 205 70 15's think i'll maybe swap the 125's for some 135 or 145's, would be a bit happier with a little more contact area!
she's looking a bit sad at the moment but fingers crossed next week i'll have some good progress pics!
