Default Beetle Trailer Project

Been and picked this up this morning, been thinking of doing one for a while but saw this one local already done so jumped at the chance of buying it!

Plan is to paint it red to match my Beetle, make it water tight, and make a new cover for it as the current one's a bit scabby and needs replacing. Will probably put some GT Beetle wheels on it at some point as the 10" ones look a tad lost in the arches
Will be taking it down devon at the end of july and then will be making the trip to newquay when we go camping in August

Cheers, will update as progress is made
It's been all the way to the alps and back as well apparantly, the bloke i bought it off leant it to his mate when he went skiing. Previous owner used tow it behind his Bay window karmann gypsy hence the colour scheme.

15" rims will level it out nicely too. A very nice find.

Fit a tow bar to it and tow the caravan too in a road-train stylee. You know it makes sense.

^lol, think i'd struggle on hills a bit with both on the back, would be an amusing sight going down the M5 though . I really need to get that caravan finished as well!

Hahah nah, wouldn't be practical enough, couple more pics:

Getting the a-frame extended a bit as it's a tad too short. Want to make sure it doesn't catch the car when reversing or on full lock.

Inside will be tidied up and lined with a waterproof membrane.
