pretty sure it's not that car... as i've been asked the same question before... and i'm pretty sure someone forwarded me some pictures of that bug...
was a while ago now

Ben, keeping it basic... rebuilt 1600 motor, 4.5 sprints on the back, 5.5s on the rear.. stock height, but cabs are always a little lower than stockers!!

I should stop reading these threads, it always annoys me that my cabby is stuck in a powerless lock up and I can't get on with it.
In fact, the topic was raised again yesterday, by the mrs....

frame out.. did it's job, it's not moved at all


and now the floor is mostly green












just got a little filler work to do, and then i'll run the orbital over it to give it a good key before the etch prime goes on!!

getting to blue took a day longer than anticipated... found a load of low spots that the old paint was covering

so lots of block work and another coat of primer later, we get to this






just got to whack some clear on her now to make her super shiny

Building up the clear coat at the mo... i've got 3 coats on so far.. gonna get another 2 or 3 on over the weekend... then i can put the body back on the pan and bolt it together!!
