We wanted to give you an update on the reset password emails that went out yesterday. Due to the high volume of emails going out and some service providers blocking them as spam, users have either been getting them late, or not at all. If you have not received your password reset email please use the password reset function “forgot password”. These emails will go through a paid provider and should show up instantly.
To do so just go to log in >> once it redirects you click forgot password >> follow the steps provided.
If you do not remember the email address associated with your account you can use the contact us tab at the bottom of the page to email us for assistance. Please select the “other” option and add subject “security password issues”

Up for sale is my 2002 '51 plate 1.8 20 valve Turbo sport model in green. This is the B5.5 version, and in sport trim has lowered suspension, 3 spoke steering wheel, climate control, 6 cd changer and traction control. All work perfectly. I spent ages finding a good example and saw loads but this one was by far the best of all. Travelled 200 odd miles to get it. 116k miles, I bought it 2 years ago with 68K on the clock and it's been pretty much faultless with the exception of a few minor sensor faults and a major oil pump replacement. This cost about £600 as the pickup pipe got sludged so I had a new pipe and oil pump fitted.
New front (Oct 2010) and rear brakes (Feb 2010) and new tyres (Feb 2010) all round on the sweet 17" BBS rims. I've swapped the sport interior with once from a later model as I needed 3 3 point seat belts for the kids.
Regularly serviced and oil changed at 5-10K intervals. I use the correct oil and larger VW supplied oil filters to stop the motor sludging up again. Cam belt was changed after I bought it. Has towbar but has never been used for towing by me. I've fitted a K&N panel filter which gives a nice whoosh when on boost. New battery too. I've got receipts for all this work.
There's a small dent and scrape on the OSF wheel arch where someone clipped the car when trying to get through too small a gap. There are also some stone chips to the bonnet and doors but nothing really bad. The majority of my miles are done on the motorways
Mot till Feb 2012 and Tax till April 2011. Car is in use daily still though.
