Chat/Discussion Kind of like a VW club online - you can sit in our virtual pub and talk about whatever you want to. All opinions are valid, but please no insulting (other than to our intelligence,) abusive or libellous posts. Please feel free to post your opinion on any given subject, but also be aware that others have the equal right to disagree with you - and some will certainly tell you so. No 'For Sale' or 'Want To Buy' ads, plugs for your business, links to 'for sale' ads or Ebay links to your (or your mate's) auction (please use the VZi 'Classifieds' section) - this also includes thinly veiled "What's my car worth?" threads too (please use the 'Dude! What's My Car Worth?' forum) - and please don't use just to post links to other VW forums or websites - we are aware that other sites exist (obviously), but blatant 'plugs' (poaching) will simply be deleted.

Default Once More - The Story of VIN 903847

Anyone seen this film? It looks very well done from the trailer. Looks like it's on Discovery Channel sometime.

"Academy Award nominated director Hubert Davis investigates the incredible story of a 1955 Volkswagen Beetle. It starts with three remarkable trips around the world, and has yet to end."

(I did check,I don't think it's a repost)

Looks to the making of something worth following, some of the shots of it in various locations around the world feature a different car though (ragtop).

That looks interesting and the trailer is really well made. It certainly makes me want to see the story in full.

It's nice that its about a beetle but with a trailer/story like that I would want to watch it whatever vehicle it was.

That I'd like to see, a 50-60 year old Oval would have some great tales to tell if it could speak.
