Dubs At The Park – Sunday 19th May

Posted by volkszone

On Sunday 19th May the London & Thames Valley VW (LTV – VWC) club will be staging their  10th  annual one-day Volkswagen show.  It’s open to all Volkswagen and classic car fans and is a great day out for the whole family.
Last year the show had to be cancelled due to bad weather – so this year the show is back with even more fantastic Volkswagens on display, more live music and even more children’s entertainment.  It’s one of the most-friendly and laid-back classic car shows of the VW calendar and attracts a record number of vehicles, previous years have seen around 2500 people in attendance and we hope this year will be no exception – weather permitting!

They will be transforming the lawned grounds of the historic Easthampstead Park House, near Bracknell, Berkshire, into a huge classic car display!  Any VW, any age, any condition can be nominated in one of several categories. That’s because everyone attending the show is a judge and can be judged – a true people’s choice!  Trophies will be awarded to the VW car owners with the most votes for titles such as ‘Best Dent’ and ‘Most Wanted’.

The show will be packed with live bands and entertainment, including a cycle trials display team, loads of traders, special displays and a children’s area with free activities such as face painting, colouring, and a bouncy camper van. Refreshments will be available from the bar, stalls, or huge BBQ before the final prize-giving ceremony in the afternoon.

There will be hundreds of show cars to look at and a whole lot more at the Park, an event not to be missed!
