Let me know what you want PayPal Ed as you need postage etc on. Look at lowering my beetle at front have you done this before? Was just going to change springs.

that looks stunning! mine is well scruffy by comparison, but as I've only just got it and not even cleaned it yet I'm hopeful I can bring it up to scratch. :)

as for other bits I might need, probably loads but not really even started investigating yet. I want to get it safe, so fuel lines and electrics are priority. And hopefully tidying up what's there without spending too much hopefully, but I know how these things go. My last project, a £500 Golf GTI ended up having about £6k thrown at it. Luckily out of that £6k I had plenty of spares to sell on and offset the spending. Keeping my project cost a bit more under control.

    That looks fantastic!
Puts my stick on stuff to shame lol.
Like the steering wheel also :)

I spent a week off work with Les welding up my bug floor and it's now in my parents garage waiting for a compete overhaul and respray.
To cheer myself up I bought a Porsche whilst it's off the road.

I'll be doing the local shows if I can so i will keep an eye out for you both.

    Hi Andy,
In the process of a rolling resto.
I have been painting all the underside and inner wings, bit by bit.
The floor pan's have suffer with water seeped under the soundproofing and badly pitted the metal plus there are a few areas that have small holes.
Debating whether to just rip them out and replace them or repair them.
I'm looking to rent a small workshop to undertake the major work and prepare for a respray, but not found anywhere :(
Hope all is well with you and the 02.
