I own a 1977 Volkswagen Last Edition Beetle, 1200cc. the registration in WUT 218S. it is Diamond Silver and has/had Porsche Boxster Rims. other than the wheels and hubs, the car is basicaly factory standard other than some black and white chequered pattern vinyl on the rear parcel shelf.

It was stolen from Orton Malborn in Peterborough at about 04:00am on Tuesday morning 24th July.

It is a genuine last edition beetle made in Emden in Germany it is number 139 of 300 produced before european production ceased in January 1978. the car was shipped to the UK and registered in March 1978. Has genuine 41,860 miles on the clock and recently shown at Stanford Hall along side five other Last Edition Beetles.

If anyone can help me to find my Bug I would really appreciate it.

If you know anyone who has recently aquired a Silver Bug ie, last few days please let me know.

As a stolen car it has very little value, but it means the world to me and my young Son. we just want to bring it home safe.
