Default 2276 Cam/rod clearance

Hi, Iím building a 2276 motor and got a problem with rod/camshaft clearance. Iím using Scat I beam Rods with 3/8Ē ARP bolts and I have only 0.5mm clearance when the rod is horizontal but when at an angle it hits the cam. Just asking wot options there are ? Different rods ? clearance the cam ? Machine the rods ?

Thanks for any input

you want to check the clearance in the rods normal path of movement when in use. fit a barrel and piston without rings and gently rotate it to see where it goes and then you clearance the cam as ideally your rods will be balanced....?

I can rotate the crank in one half of the case and it hits the cam. Will need to clearance the cam or buy a stroker relieved cam
