Chat/Discussion Kind of like a VW club online - you can sit in our virtual pub and talk about whatever you want to. All opinions are valid, but please no insulting (other than to our intelligence,) abusive or libellous posts. Please feel free to post your opinion on any given subject, but also be aware that others have the equal right to disagree with you - and some will certainly tell you so. No 'For Sale' or 'Want To Buy' ads, plugs for your business, links to 'for sale' ads or Ebay links to your (or your mate's) auction (please use the VZi 'Classifieds' section) - this also includes thinly veiled "What's my car worth?" threads too (please use the 'Dude! What's My Car Worth?' forum) - and please don't use just to post links to other VW forums or websites - we are aware that other sites exist (obviously), but blatant 'plugs' (poaching) will simply be deleted.

Default VW mk2f polo

I sold my 91 polo cl today had it four year's and it's been great . Had 18000 when I bought it and sold it with 22500 . I was the second owner and I not used it much this year and I have a GT coupe and another breadvan project so it was time for me to let go.

The money will go towards my beetle resto that's never ending.

Good little cars those. I miss my Mk2F CL saloon - high miles but gave me years of reliable service.

I always wanted a MK2 but never came across one that had not been messed with.

Good luck with getting it back on the road.

This is my ongoing polo GT project as well as my beetle.

Cool looks to be calypso green like mine!
I drove mine since passing my test in 1996 and then basically took off the road in 2006 when bought a scirocco, mot'd again in 09 but it's sat around since then just getting moved about driveway. Back when I had it on the road scrapyards were full of them with sod all wrong as no one wanted them. Great to see the demand start to rise for them again!

Here's nephews bready

I put maybe 70k on mine and gave it some abuse, but maintained it well. Cracking wee thing, after having a drive in nephews it pushed me to sorting it again.

Everyone should have a Mk2/2f at some point!
