Readers Rides Post pics, specs and build-up stories of your vehicles - or even your garages here. Also interesting stuff about your 'daily drivers' etc. or interesting cars you have seen on your travels, even motors-based TV shows you can recommend. Please, no 'For Sale' or 'Want To Buy' ads, plugs for your 'business', links to 'for sale' ads or Ebay links to your (or your mate's) auction (use the VZi 'Classifieds' section) - this also includes thinly veiled 'What's My Car Worth?' threads and "Who Can Sell Me A . . ." posts.

i had trouble removing the front arms from the outer splines, the only thing that worked was a 2" steel tube 6 foot long, pass it under the car sit one end over the lower shock mount heat the arm and give the steel bar a few good slaps with a lump hammer from the opposite side of the car.

Nice looking fasty

Have you managed to get it lowered yet? I really struggled to get the arms off mine, but found the only thing worked was an air chisel... put the point of the chisel into the little dimple in the end of the torsion bar, and the vibration works the trailing arm off.

Oh, and where did you get those air filters from? The chrome ones on your stock carbs.
