Go Back   VW Forum - VZi, Europe's largest VW, community and sales > Community > Chat/Discussion

Chat/Discussion Kind of like a VW club online - you can sit in our virtual pub and talk about whatever you want to. All opinions are valid, but please no insulting (other than to our intelligence,) abusive or libellous posts. Please feel free to post your opinion on any given subject, but also be aware that others have the equal right to disagree with you - and some will certainly tell you so. No 'For Sale' or 'Want To Buy' ads, plugs for your business, links to 'for sale' ads or Ebay links to your (or your mate's) auction (please use the VZi 'Classifieds' section) - this also includes thinly veiled "What's my car worth?" threads too (please use the 'Dude! What's My Car Worth?' forum) - and please don't use just to post links to other VW forums or websites - we are aware that other sites exist (obviously), but blatant 'plugs' (poaching) will simply be deleted.

Took my 500 in for its service yesterday and mentioned the SuperCub concept to the dealer. He told me that both it and the monkey bike had caused quite a stir, and that if it was going to happen there’d be an announcement around Christmas time.

I’m not holding my breath!

Heh Heh :-)
I had an SS cos cheap Fizzies were £20 & I only had a tenner...it had a 70 big bore tho!
.
.
. I managed to join the cool kids a couple of months later when I picked up a Fizzie for £40.
.
.Only the cool kids were then upgrading to RD50's, MBX50's, AR50's & Suzuki X1's...

I've never quite made it to cool... Even my phone is a Nokia...

. . . . . . . . . . TBH, getting a Fizzy was the last time I followed the herd in the pursuit of elusive 'cool'.
I soon realised that the first rule of 'cool' is to be your own man, decide for yourself what you like, and have the self confidence to do it.

Following the herd is the most anti, uncool thing ever, so well done you

I did hear only last week the Monkey Bike version is unlikely to be a UK machine

I do hope they are wrong
