Chat/Discussion Kind of like a VW club online - you can sit in our virtual pub and talk about whatever you want to. All opinions are valid, but please no insulting (other than to our intelligence,) abusive or libellous posts. Please feel free to post your opinion on any given subject, but also be aware that others have the equal right to disagree with you - and some will certainly tell you so. No 'For Sale' or 'Want To Buy' ads, plugs for your business, links to 'for sale' ads or Ebay links to your (or your mate's) auction (please use the VZi 'Classifieds' section) - this also includes thinly veiled "What's my car worth?" threads too (please use the 'Dude! What's My Car Worth?' forum) - and please don't use just to post links to other VW forums or websites - we are aware that other sites exist (obviously), but blatant 'plugs' (poaching) will simply be deleted.

(I'm posting this via Tapatalk in the hope the photos will be viewable seeing as my Photobucket account no longer works)

I've always had a hankering for the Honda Dream 50, but they are sooooo expensive.

I've always liked the Honda Motocompo that was made between 1981 and 1983. They too are becoming damn expensive.

Honda did unveil an electric version in 2011 at the Tokyo motor show.

I'm still working on these 3 Honda Chaly's for my brother and may well have enough spares for a 4th if I can find some complete forks.

But my brother has implied he may give me a Di-Blasi when I finish them

I've still got my Honda C50 from JOGLE but can't tax it thanks to a so called specialist at the Honda Owners Club informing DVLA that Honda never import a frame into the UK without it having a frame number stamped on it. Mine has no number and never has had in my ownership (and I'm the 2nd owner). I believe the previous owner had an accident and it was reframed a long time before I purchased it but the garage who did the work forgot to stamp it.

Cool Hondas Jules.

I have a 'zero-miler' (never even been commissioned) Honda Dream 50.

Yes, those Honda Solos are very cool looking. I’d definitely have one.

A friend used one for commuting sold it on before it had to be MOTed. Then bought another Cheaper than paying for the Tube to work. Not sure of the longevity. His last one he put Ducati decals on it and confused a lot of folks

I bought a new ďChitumaĒ CG125 clone to commute on in 2005. At £600 I figured to do the same. Insurance was ridiculously dear, more than for my 500. It was, basically, an entire bike made from pattern parts; not sure youíd get three years of all-weather commuting out of one with our salted roads.

Iím currently mooning over this:
