Default 1968 Beetle for sale - requires restoration

1968 Beetle for sale - requires restoration.

Was taken off the road about 10 years ago to restore, kept dry in a garage since. I cut the nose off but the project never really took off. The vehicle was fully running when I stopped using it - engine, gearbox, brakes and suspension were all good and I was doing a 30 mile commute. Has an aftermarket ragtop. Chrome bumpers are now a bit rusty.

Comes with (what I think should be) all the major parts needed to restore:

Oversized body cuts for the heater channels.
Two new front wings (genuine VW).
New front bulkhead (genuine VW).
Two HD body pans.
Various rear replacement panels.

All original parts/bolts/electrics are in plastic boxes ready for reassembly. Engine is out and ready for moving. Will obviously need a trailer for collection and space to load the boxes of bits, glass, interior, engine and panels!

I've included some photos of when it was up and running (and still shiny). More photos available on request.

800 but willing to listen.
Located CV33.

Just realised - you can look at my signature to see what I'd done so far before it all halted

Hi all, so sorry about this. I've had a hell of a response but have been battling with moving houses over the last month and still have a few weeks to go.

For now, I've managed to get the bug stored and with a potential for having the works done to bring it up to the level I need to continue. If I can't afford/justify it, I'll let you all know!
