Rear vents around the back window are now filled in and the long process of fill sand repeat is on now.

Then its strip off the old glue and soundproofing ready for primer and temporary respray to make it lokk passable for the year.

Porsche tombstone seats are the next thing to be fitted, got to transfer them onto the old beetle subframes and fit to check the backrest are at the right anglr, if not its motor re-wire and fiddle.

new update, the guys at Carwerks in lincoln(as featured in volksworld this month) have done a top job, very happy. lots to fettle for me to practice my painting.

Its a sweet looking bug with a nice engine that loves to rev, if katherine saw it she would want to keep it for sure.

Nice, thanks made mandas day that bud. Engine has been the thing I personally wanted to get sorted. so when we got the carbs of the fle-bay for 50 quid all in we was well happy-got them set up by Danny at riechspeed up near donny.

just need a really nice quote for sorting the seats next.

Well I have filled sanded and second coat primed the repair patch, looks sooooo much better now, ready with the top coat tomorrow night. Fingers crossed I dont mess it up. Pics once I have let the primer dry.

Should be ready the day before bug jam
