Default White tyre lettering paint

Any advice/guidance/recommended products?
I want to pick out some lettering on my tyres, but a lot of what I see on the net is either advertising, or folk having problems with products they have bought.
Any 1st hand experience one way or another?
Cheers, Dave.

I used Airfix paint back in the day, Tipex will probably wash off in the wet, much like emulsion paint. The one tyre I did have with raised white letters was a BF Goodrich which I had fitted so the letters were on the inside of the tyre as they stood out way too much compared to the little brand names on my other tyres and non of them matched anyway.
