Chat/Discussion Kind of like a VW club online - you can sit in our virtual pub and talk about whatever you want to. All opinions are valid, but please no insulting (other than to our intelligence,) abusive or libellous posts. Please feel free to post your opinion on any given subject, but also be aware that others have the equal right to disagree with you - and some will certainly tell you so. No 'For Sale' or 'Want To Buy' ads, plugs for your business, links to 'for sale' ads or Ebay links to your (or your mate's) auction (please use the VZi 'Classifieds' section) - this also includes thinly veiled "What's my car worth?" threads too (please use the 'Dude! What's My Car Worth?' forum) - and please don't use just to post links to other VW forums or websites - we are aware that other sites exist (obviously), but blatant 'plugs' (poaching) will simply be deleted.

That's the one I'd seen and wasn't sure if repaint

Great to see Polos getting so much attention

While we're on Polos here's one I made to look like mine years ago from a yellow 1/43 Conrad model. They're not great quality but made loads of 1980s VWs, not sure if they were on sale at VW dealers or what. They're quite dear for what they are, but the only MK2 Polo I could find at the time. Go for around 50 now, I got this from the states and think itcost just under 30. Ixo released a really nice one a few years ago in red or white

I've not seen those Mk2 models before.
I remember in the 80s you used to be able to buy a model of your new VW from the vw dealers. Think they were Gamma models.

I'm not sure what the deal with them was but I've seen Mk2 Golf, Jetta, Scirocco,T25, Passat and santana. Really boring mundane stuff that I love
They're quite basic, which was good for a repaint as came apart easily. Fetch good money too. Some come in plain grey boxes with writing on them others I've seen had a brochure type pic of the actual car.
