They'll lose a lot more revenue if the big boys like Sony start to withdraw their content.

Which won't happen either. The major film makers aren't about to drop the largest provider of streaming content. This is a political announcement more than anything else. All parties need to be seen to be doing something about this, when in reality there is little they can do to stop it.

I think they will all have to be seen to do 'something'.

Yes, the answer is to open up the rights worldwide but I suspect we are some way off that.

So, expect 'posturing' from both sides in the short to medium term

Yep. In the mean time the half arsed blocking attempts will stop a few people and piracy will continue to rise. The men in suits will also fail to recognise the fact the open source community that have long been pushing open worldwide standard to help these companies combat piracy and allow access to more potential customers on any platform. The open source community will also happily develop the software for them, for free.

I finished it last week.

Was he guilty no idea, should he of been convicted based on what we were shown no!

Before anyone jumps up & down I know we only got to see a fraction of the evidence, and lots of people believe the dcumentary was very one sided.

But personally I was shocked at how the entire investigation was run.

I've read about 700 pages of the court transcripts. If it was a work of fiction, it would be dismissed as ridiculous.
