VW post campsite near Torquay / Paignton

heading down to Devon for a week at the end of July and fancy a few nights near Torquay / Paignton, so do any of you know of any good sites near by. Preferably not comercialised ( free!!), just a little local nearby and not too far out from the town - oh and preferably some good weather

thanks
Martin

There's a really nice one that we regularly stay at called Manor Farm just outside Torquay. It's not free, but it's cheap and the shower block is clean and modern. There are no onsite ammenities, however there is a lovely pub called the Linny Inn about a mile up the lane.

Try Widdicombe Farm, that's where we stay. It's got a nice little shop, restaurant and pub on site. Actually in torquay and not too far from paignton.
There's also Broadleigh Farm which is a little cider farm off the beaten track =]

There's Beverly Park in goodrington, paignton...can't always guarantee free but i work in the bar so there could be a free pint on the sly and the entertainment can actually be quite good sometimes...

but i can definitely recommend the Linny Inn in Newton Abbot!! never been to the camp site but the pub is superb!
