Commercial and 'regular' sellers, please take a banner advert or become a Member Sponsor and support the site before running your 'business' or 'just selling' through VZi. VZi Classifieds were originally set up as a 'free to use' facility for the members who contribute with threads and replies in the Mech Tech, Chat and Readers Rides forums etc. As VZi has got bigger, we see more and more new Members who ONLY ever post in the Classifieds and contribute nothing (neither monetary nor in content) to the forums. This is fine, however to use our facility this way you will need to become a Member Sponsor.

Default Early Bay, 1970 Westfalia tin top. Patina'd US import

This was imported from the US in late 2011, I bought it a few months later in early Spring 2012. I’ve done nothing to it other than replace window rubbers, get some cushions made for the ¾ rock & roll bed, and pay for fuel, maintenance, MOT etc.

I’ve driven it to Ninove, Belgium and Mönchengladbach, Germany, as well as around the UK. A change of circumstance means I’ve got to let it go.

Good bits:
Solid with patina.
Lowered, but not massively, still drives very nicely.
New alternator (it’s the only shiny bit on the van to be honest).
New clutch (last week).
I’ve been told it’s got a 2L gearbox (it cruises nicely at 65-70mph).
One key fits all doors.
Lap belts in the back (not legally required).

Bad bits
She’s rough around the edges.
Seats are worn and pealing.
Ignition is a separate key, not a VW lock.
Odometer is sticky and doesn’t move much.

Tax & MOT exempt but I’d be able to MOT it if required.

£11,000 ONO.

Contact me on nathdale at hotmail.com to ask any questions or for photos. I can video whatever you want to see rather than travelling.
