Default Anything going on over Christmas?

I know cars maybe tucked up for the winter (or in bits, as mine is ), but is there anything going on over the festive season? I'm just off j7 M62 (Rainhill), but work not far from Manchester Airport... I'm not on Facebook or anything like that so don't know if there's anything else local going on.
Cheers, Dave.

Has anyone had any problems being stopped with modifications on a Beetle with no MOT?
