Sneaky little big firms!
So, stone hit the windscreen of the T5 the other day, resulting in a chip and a crack.
Phoned the insurance, and it went straight through to National Windscreens.
Gave them my details, and they said they would get in contact with me when they got approval from the insurance to go ahead, which in a couple of hours they did.
Then I get a text saying “we’ve been trying to contact you to make an appointment for a replacement screen, please phone this PREMIUM RATE number to arrange it”
So I didn’t.
As far as I can see, it’s a way for them to make a couple of quid on top of what they’ll get for the job.
