Default 1973 1300 Beetle JFN317L

Bit of a long shot, but I wonder if anyone knows the whereabouts of my old bug. It was a 1970 1300, in Gold, and at the time I sold it, April 1992, it had a 1600tp and 1500 gearbox. I bought it in 1986 as a near mint 33,000 mile example, and ran it for the best part of 70,000 miles. It was starting to look a little frayed around the edges after being an all-weather daily, but it was still a good example.

I sold it to a young lady who lived in the Danehill area in Sussex, and saw it a few times driving about before I left the area.

The DVLA still list it as an active registration, and it changed hands again in 1995. It looks like itís been off the road since 1996.

Iíd love to find out what happened to it, and if itís sitting unloved somewhere looking for a new home; or if itís someoneís long term project and theyíd like to learn a little bit about itís early history.

I had a 74 Beetle in that colour.
Beautifull.

Good luck with your search.
