Chat/Discussion Kind of like a VW club online - you can sit in our virtual pub and talk about whatever you want to. All opinions are valid, but please no insulting (other than to our intelligence,) abusive or libellous posts. Please feel free to post your opinion on any given subject, but also be aware that others have the equal right to disagree with you - and some will certainly tell you so. No 'For Sale' or 'Want To Buy' ads, plugs for your business, links to 'for sale' ads or Ebay links to your (or your mate's) auction (please use the VZi 'Classifieds' section) - this also includes thinly veiled "What's my car worth?" threads too (please use the 'Dude! What's My Car Worth?' forum) - and please don't use just to post links to other VW forums or websites - we are aware that other sites exist (obviously), but blatant 'plugs' (poaching) will simply be deleted.

Blimey!

Everton look like they may have found the beginnings of a new 'Holy Trinity'.

It's only the first game . . . and not every team will give them the 'freedom of the park' like Spurs did . . . but the signs are encouraging.

Bet you're happy Alfie?

He's probably happier than I am

It's going to be a long and boring season for Spurs fans if that was anything to go by!

I'm not going to get carried away as I think Spurs were poor. But yes, early signs are positive

I was really looking forward to seeing Allan play as I think he's the player we've missed to break down attacks, I didn't know about his passing though. Crikey he can ping a ball about

James Rodriguez looked a big rusty which is to be expected, but I think he's going to add the creative spark for DCL and Richie to feed off.

I think it might be a decent season for a change

I've heard Rodriguez will play to get some more minutes under his belt. I wonder if Paddy Power will give me odds on how many times he'll be kicked up in the air

1 Sheffield United.
2 Bournemouth.
3 Palace.

18 Arsenal.
19 Citeh.
20 Liverpool.

FA Tottenham.

League Everton.

Newcastle to be thrown out of the league for financial irregularities and (due to) having an unfit owner.

Dirty Leeds to be thrown out of the league for fighting, ugly fans, fighting, financial irregularities, fighting, fielding a drunk team, fighting, not being able to field a team as most of their players are in prison, fighting.

.....being dirty.

.....and being Leeds.

It's great having you guys back. What is the parachute payment for one season?

It's currently half-time (EFC 1 SCFC 0) and it's been a remarkably clean game so far.

Salford played quite well, their keeper had a decent game to be honest. Kean didn't really impress me much, our new left back looks like he could be a bargain too!
