How close to York?

This place is cheap and even provides wood for campfires

Within about 30-40 minutes drive, must take kids and campervans.

That one looks ideal, any idea on cost as it is the one thing missing on the website!

I've never stayed there as it's only 3 miles from my house, but mates have stopped and I think it's 12 per night including hookup.

The fact that they allow camp fires seems to make them popular, I've seen a few car and bike clubs there when I've driven past.

Thumbs up

Could try this - http://yorkshireholidayparks.co.uk/#...ark/4529278857

There's a couple of aircooled dubs living on the site and always happy to see more, but does get booked up early through summer

Stayed at this place recently, 21 for a camper/awning with EHU and you can book online and pick your pitch.

http://www.burrowspark.co.uk/

Facilities have just been upgraded and are very good. They have what they refer to as a "Rally" field. No EHU but it means you can have a large group of people together without worrying about disturbing others.

The Crown which is only 250m is currently closed though which is a downer.
