Exclamation Tensile Fabric Engineering. Caldicot. Immediate start.

Firstly, Have a look at our website.

We employ approximately 40 at our Caldicot Facility, 5 miles from the old and new Severn Bridges on the Welsh side of the River Severn. We produce large tension structures, Millennium Dome/ Butlins Pavillions are examples of the sort of things we produce, though they pre-date the company. Also Gas Bio Domes, huge spherical structures erected over sewage plants and Water Treatment plants to harvest methane as a Bio Fuel which, in turn powers huge generators that feed power into the national grid. We also produce huge 'Banners' that are used for advertising purposes, often 40 meters in length or more. There is great variety in what we produce.

We seek a couple of Tensile Fabric Production Operatives. Ideally some basic engineer or trade type experience, readings drawings and reading a tape measure accurately kind of thing.

Work is produced on PVC welding machines, the work is NOT back breaking, the work is generally clean. Generally there is lots of overtime available and the firm has been running approximately 15 years. We export all over the world and have a pretty close friendly workforce. Males or Females are welcome to apply for Full Time positions, we have no age restrictions but the work, though not terribly strenuous requires a reasonable level of fitness, we are also currently seeking a part time sewing machinist working 16 hours per week.

A Positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a desire to be part of 'The Team' are the strongest attributes you should possess.

Pay begins at 7.50 per hour, progressing as experience develops to a 9 per hour. Overtime rates apply and there is a company bonus scheme in place after a qualifying period of 3 months. Work is secure, long term and not a typical factory job. Hours of work are generally 08:00hrs-16:30hrs mon-Thursday, 07:00hrs-15:30hrs Friday

Please do NOT PM me on here, I will answer any questions when I check the thread but applications are best directed to Production Supervisor Neil Burley. 01291 425099.
