Default Ignition Module.

I have just spent weeks trying to get an ignition module [the box next to the idle stabiliser] for my 1980 T25.

I was reluctant to pay 20 - 30 quid for one off a scrapper and eventually found out the part is identical to one used on many makes of cars - 1980's Golfs/Caddys/Polos plus it was also same on a lot of Nissans/Saabs/BMW/Volvo...

In my case it was a Lucas DAB400 Unit - allthough Lucas have gone bust, they are still about [and their competitors equivalents].

There is a guy who sells them on ebay and privately - brand new - for a fiver.

Sorry if this is a boring post!
