I know everyone slates Rosecliston (just outside of newquay) but if you are going early season (mid - late June for us) when its not so busy we've always liked it. No hassle from the staff, dont get stuck 2 yards from other people and we have never had trouble with noise. After midnight its always seemed fine to us. Will definitely go back anyway.

They are happy to take groups with noise deposits (we always got ours back) so unfortunately you do get a few 16 year olds kickin about but like i say we always enjoyed it!

Price gone up a bit in the last year or 2 though but worth a look for younger groups.

Default campsite

Tregurian campsite. It is a caravan and camping site but they allow non members.
It is on the hill at watergate bay 3 miles from Newquay. Great beach, shop, Jamie Olivers restaurant if your feeling posh and you don't get the idiots!

It says families and couples only again. Might give them a call anyway.

Thanks
thats the place, did you book it? I know they say families and couples only but whenever i've stayed with friends they have been fine with it and we're not a rowdy bunch anyway.

[QUOTE=VDUB WANNABE;6839349]Porth Beach is indeed very good. Went last year, or the year before(?) and its a good spot. Here's the link:

They're good with families and the louts amongst you have a 'lout field' so you can be a little loud.

I have also been camping at this place:

It was very good too. Not as close to the beach though.

Enjoy.[/QUOT

stayed at porth beach too great site and the wash rooms and laundrette are the best you will find !

its been mentioned early on but treago farm is really good. Our VW club with 6 cars went many years ago and they were really friendly. Crantock beach is minutes walk away and lovely. drove down to it last year looked just as good
