Default What tyres for Pedrinis

Hi All,

Got a set of Pedrinis (5.5 x 15) that I will be putting on my slammed bug (narrowed beam 3"), but just really struggling to work out best tyre size to get. Want slammed on front and larger on back- any advice?

Cheers in anticipation,
Matt

I also have a set of Pedrini's with a 3 inch narrowed beam on my 1200 Bug (avatar) although they're not ready to go on the car yet. I have a pair of 145's to go on the front, I was running 165's with a set of Centrelines but they caught the back of the headlight bowl. Once the front ones have the tyre's I'll fit one on the back to see how much room there is and go from there. There was a stance thread in the readers rides section a while ago, might be worth having a look on there see what sizes other people are running.

Thanks Jim, can't find thread though. Might need to just try as suggested.

Here's a link - https://www.volkszone.com/VZi/showthr...=stance+thread

Have you lowered the rear of yours? I'm planning on running stock hight at the rear so think I'm going to need a reasonably big tyre to fill the gap.

Thanks Jim, still all theoretical as working on it now, but back will be down as well.

Thanks mayple, I'd like lower profile than 65 if I can at front.

When the pic was taken of my Bug in my avatar I was running 185/65s on the rear and 165/65s on the front if that helps, was thinking of a going for similar rears when she eventually goes back on the road. Have you got centrecaps with your Pedrinis? If so would you mind posting a pic of them as mine didn't come with any and was wondering what they look like.
