Default Odd wheels

Hi all, trying to do a deal on a crew cab got some photos of the front and back axles. Seller tells me it has had a replacement engine would it be a replacement box as well and am I right in thinking these wheels will be different centres if so what is the cure. Sorry can't get photo of front axle to download but it shows as solid wheel with domed hub cap. Don't know what I done but photo now shows front axle rear is flat hub cap with holes in rim

what year is the van? looks/sounds like an early bay with late 5*112 hubs at the back. or less likely a drum front axle has been swapped onto a crossover bay.

i believe the 'fix' for this would be to find some early bay wheels, rear hubs, drums, etc. and replace the late ones. the box and driveshafts are the same for early and late.

You can pick up replica wheels - 2 of each PCD is another option.

All baywindow buses are IRS, the axles are seperate to the gearbox unlike pre 67 swing axles, swapping the gearbox wont change the wheel bolt pattern.

Looking at how those front wheels are sticking out it wouldnt surprise me if they are mounted on adapters.

Pop the hubcap off, you may find front brakes are small 5 stud same as the rear.

Mine's the other way round wide 5 with domed rears and holed with flats on the front due to having drums at the back and discs up front. It's a lowlight '70. No servo with the discs, so no real advantage, but that's the way she came to me.

70 is a cross-over year for the brakes/pcd so it could be drums all round with 205 pcd, or first year of discs and 112 pcd
