Default 2005 Peugeot 407 SW - 2.0 HDi X-Line Estate

Given up on life? Want your neighbours to know? If the answer is yes, read on because the car I have for sale could be just what youíre looking for.

Itís a 2005 Peugeot 407 SW 2.0 HDi X-Line. A car so dull and unnoticeable that itíd be perfect for a life of crime if you were that way inclined.

Finished in Ďkill me nowí grey metallic featuring a plethora of scuffs & light scratches (most notably a crease & associated scratches in the wing from a gate post argument). That said, itís reasonably presentable and would probably clean up ok.....if I could be bothered.

It also features such fripperies as cruise control, trip computer, cd/radio with a 6 cd changer in the boot & stalk mounted controls, power steering, auto lights & wipers, electric windows, electric folding mirrors, 6 speed gearbox, PDC, 12v charging sockets front, rear & boot and finally, the piŤce de rťsistance; a full length, glass panoramic sunroof through which to observe the sky. Be still my beating heart.

The faults with the electrics are limited to an inoperable passenger rear side window and the rear wash wipe is not working. For a French car this is an eyebrow-raising plus point and Iím currently in talks with Vatican City to get this certified as a miracle....which will be a bonus for the lucky new owner.

Another fault to mention is (what I assume to be) leaky rear door seals which creates water ingress into the rear footwells. A double onboard foot spa if you will. Probably an easy fix but my spirit is too crushed to look into it further.

If you have read this far, you are probably on ALOT of medication and therefore considering a purchase. With that in mind I shall list the carís plus points:

MOT until 17th May 2021.

Starts, runs & stops.

Recent new battery & tyre fitted.

Reasonably economical for a big car.

Huge boot.

Er, thatís it.

(Oh! Donít forget that panoramic sunroof. Youíll be the talk of the asylum when you roll up).

If youíd like the car, get in touch with me and prepare your nurse to withdraw £375 from your current account. Itís probably worth more but just looking at it is sucking my will to live. Iíve been brutally honest about this car and the TLC that it needs but if you would like to know anything (or want to view the car) please do get in touch. The car is located close to the major north west road network inbetween Wigan & Warrington so is easy to reach from most places.

Did I mention it has a panoramic glass sunroof?

EDIT: The car has a flat tyre in the photos which has since been rectified so it can be driven away no problem.

Plenty more photos here:

Well, it's 2021 so has the right to identify itself in a way which makes it comfortable.
