Take them to court and they run to the hills, not to be found by Trading Standards, then in court, state that they complied with Trading Standards.
Have your van poorly prepped then simply sprayed over non sanded back base, and engine pillaged of good parts. Take them to the local court, and find them rather familiar with defendants. Expect to lose the case, and where another company involved to rectify original repairs, that any proven costs or damage are applied to that 2nd company (as against its director) and therefore unrecoverable.
Avoid at all costs.
