Default Silverdale

We tried this out last week,

http://www.gibraltarfarm.co.uk/

It was pretty primative, but the view and surrounding area were well worth checking out.

I love Gibraltar Farm
makes me laugh how many signs they have saying 'no camp fires' then as soon as you get there they offer you a steel BBQ holder as tell you its fine to have a fire in it after your barbie

A campfire (as known to millions of Scouts and Guides around the world) is built on the ground or a purpose built container. A barbeque is off the ground so that you don't scorch the grass

What sort of sites do you go on if you think Gibraltar Farm is primitive? I know there are plans afoot to build another toilet block closer to the tent fields. But the facilities here are superb. If you want all dancing all singing go to Holgates at 30 per night.

Just back from our second visit here...

http://llwyn-ffynnon.co.uk/

I've been in expensive hotels with bogs & showers not to this standard

No wonder it gets 10/10 on most reviews
