Hi I was told by my mechanic that the hall sensor was faulty on my distributor. I have got what I thought was an identical one but on trying to fit it he noticed that the connector on the side was different. How do I solve this problem. If I got a brickwerks rebuild kit do I have to change the plug part on the wiring loom aswell. Please see pictures of the 2 connectors on the distributors.

The original hall sender is NLA. The distributor has to be modified to fit the later type by filing the distributor slot wider and fitting the new square plug to the loom, the Brickworks kit comes with the new plug.
