Cheers guys

Parkin10, I use Imgur to host my photos now. The earlier ones are still on photobucket so no more hosting there and I've not changed everything to Imgur as it's a massive task.
Do the lst few pages of photos work? I have started placing a 'h' at the end of the photos direct link so the forum knows to post as a huge thumbnail to try and save file size. Maybe that could be an issue depending on what you're using to view the forum.

Front inner arches all media blasted/paint strip disc. Area in red square of drivers needed a few patches as the blasting easily uncovers thin metal and this side hadn't been very well straightened after it's accident in the 60's.
There was still wrinkles in the dash to A-pillar corners that needed beating out. The thickness and type of paint the PO had used hid the damage well as did the bitumen paint in the underbonnet area.

Still, should just need a light skim of filler in the areas seen by the eye. Under the dash i'm not so worried about making smooth just cos you have to poke your head under there to see it and this will never be judged so is fine by me.

Should have them and undertank area in Epoxy 121 by end of the weekend

And got 2 coats of EM121 on.

Started skim coating the under bonnet areas from the old accident damage too.
Pics once it's all block sanded.

A few photos showing the amount of filler work having to be done to the dash and under bonnet areas.
The old girl must have taken a hefty whallop to the front RHD side and then the body shop did a particularly crap job at straightening the metal.
As can be seen the LHD side has taken far less filler on the dash to get it straight and needed hardly any panel beating.

Slow progress just due to work, energy, a holiday and a few virus's.
Seems like I'll never get this done but I just keep chipping away at it.

I managed to get the under bonnet area into paint before Xmas. These first two are the white sanding primer. It's ontop of more epoxy primer that was block sanded to 320. I chose white primer after doing spray outs on black, gray and white primers. The black was cool and deep but the white gave a kind of candy effect and allowed the curves to catch the light more interestingly.
The white was blocked down to 800.

And in colour

The dash is almost finished with the filler work and then can get epoxied ready for blocking
