Default 1200 rear shoes

Need rear shoes as existing have oil on them. Strange !! Not fluid. Looking at euro carparts 40mm x 230mm is this correct size how do you measure 230mm. As gsf dont show them and need tomorrow.
Thanx

230mm is the inside diameter of the drum.

And 40mm is the width of the shoes. Some early beetles had 30 mm wide rear shoes, so check yours first.

Oil probably coming from leaky hub oil seals if it's a swing axle car, so no point fitting new shoes until you've sorted your oil leak first. Swing axle tubes are full of gear oil - it lubes the wheel bearings in the end.
