Default 17 x 7JJJ Fitment / clearance tyre advice?

Just bought some new wheels to replace my 15. Reasons where for looks and ground clearance. Need to decide tyre size but concerned with rubbing. Beam is 2 narrowed.
Has anyone fitted 17 x 7 wheels to a Beetle? Any advice on clearance?
Tyre choices are:
205 x 45 or 215 x 45 front
215 x 45 or 225 x 45 rear
Some pics of dry fitting below.
Cheers for any tips.
