Default Outside edge tyre wear

Just checked the tyres on my bay window and noticed the drivers side front has worn more on its outer edge than anywhere else.
Passengers side is worn evenly across the tread.

Am i right in thinking that if it was excessive toe it would wear both fronts?
Would positive camber on just the drivers side just wear the outer edge of that tyre?

Could be that the tracking is out. More so on the passenger side.
Worth getting that checked.
Cheapest option 1st and all that.

More than likely to be camber adjustment as tracking would cause both front tyres to wear on the outer edge evenly. I would suggest you have a 4 wheel alignment carried out.

No one round here will touch it.
They'll do a basic alignment check but won't adjust anything as its outside their comfort zone (i.e. not built within the last decade).

Really? I canít believe no one wants to check or adjust suspension geometry. Have you not got a good local Bosch centre or independent wheel & tyre specialist nearby. I donít know of many places who can afford to turn work away.

They'll check it OK but refuse to do any adjustments other than the toe.

I might see if i can borrow some wheel alignment tools off a mate and do it myself. My garage floor is 100% level so thats one hurdle overcome as working on a sloping drive was rather difficult.

Have you tried Budget Tyre and Exhaust on London Road in Carlisle? Speak to Les, they're very good and thorough.
