Default New ipad , advice on model.

Ok , i currently own a ipad air 2 , works perfectly but i would like to upgrade to the 12.9 pro. I am unsure tho which one to go for , either the current one or the just announced new version ?

Background on my useage is , we dont have a tv (8yrs and counting) so i use my ipad for Netflix, amazon video , surfing and playing pubg and ros ! I would like a bigger screen to enhance the above use. Wife uses laptop and has a amazon fire (but doesn’t rate , and will take my old ipad)

Any advice on the 12.9 pros ? i DONT want to switch to another brand , not a “fanboy” but happy with what i have. Plus i can jump from the ipad to my iphone (se).

Thanks in advance. :-)

It depends on if you can wait - and if the price(s) work for you.

If you have the time, I'd get the latest/new version dude. It will be faster/more efficient etc.

Good luck, whatever you decide.

I dont mind waiting, just curious if its worth paying nearly double for the latest model.

I am wifi only , and dont need massive GB as its mainly watching stuff , plus couple of games. 😎
