Default Hot terminals on main Battery

I have noticed that he pos and neg terminals on my main battery are getting quite warm in my 83 T25. this was with the ignition switched off.

The only reason i noticed is because i had the cover off the battery compartment and just happened to put my arm on the neg terminal. I then checked the pos and was the same.

I have a leisure battery and they are both connected to a Zig unit. The Leisure battery terminals are not warm.

Is this normal?

They shouldn’t be getting warm, no. It’d be worth taking them off, cleaning the posts and the insides of the clamps, and seeing if it’s down to a bad connection or loose clamp. While the positive is off, put an ammeter between it and the terminal and see if there’s any parasitic drain.
My worst worry about dying is my wife selling my stuff for what I told her it cost...
