Default Run the Ring - Sunday 20th

Anyone doing it?

I've signed up and think it looks like a great morning out and raises lots of cash for great causes, have not been involved with the previous 3.

My only concern is not receiving the parts that were supposed to arrive 3 weeks ago in time to get my Bug in good enough shape to risk a jolly around the M25.

Yep. At 50 mph apparently. I've never seen this event until this year so I thought it was a little off too.

Have to say knowing there may be close to 1000 VW's going round and some very lovely air-cooled busses I'm getting a little excited now.

There is even a convoy of 10-20 going from local to me to the start point.

170 miles in the camper in a day non-stop. eek.

In my experience of the M25 you'll be lucky if you make 50 mph.

We had a fantastic day convoying with over 1000 VW's. I'm still buzzing now from it.

Couple of pictures from the day.

it was incredible, I'd say at least half the vehicles were classic VW's of some sort. Was amazing to see and take part to be honest. We're sold and will be doing it next year in the camper and the beetle.

A few of the guys in splits in my Wolfsburg Bus Crew went on to Stoner park after the run.
