So despite googling I have no definitive answer
I have an old Iphone SE and the GF has an old Iphone 6s both of us are contemplating upgrading in the near future.

So the phones that are left rather than trading them in to Mazuma for 30 quid I want to turn one of them into an Ipod for the Split... I current run JBL Bluetooth speakers in the van and Bluetooth my music from the phone, Couple of questions
Do I need a SIM in the old phone to wifi/bluetooth the music
If I do do I just buy the SIM with say 10 pound credit on it and never top up.
If I have my ITUNES on the old phone will I also be able to copy my music from Itunes on to my new phone, basically can you have two phones on the same Itunes account

Has anyone done this ....Thanks in advance

I'm guessing you might need a SIM card - although someone more knowledgeable than me will confirm. Try using Bluetooth without the SIM in though, it may work. A result if so. :)

And yes, two phones on iTunes works if you don't 'synch' one of them.

Good luck. Stay safe.

:)
