Readers Rides Post pics, specs and build-up stories of your vehicles - or even your garages here. Also interesting stuff about your 'daily drivers' etc. or interesting cars you have seen on your travels, even motors-based TV shows you can recommend. Please, no 'For Sale' or 'Want To Buy' ads, plugs for your 'business', links to 'for sale' ads or Ebay links to your (or your mate's) auction (use the VZi 'Classifieds' section) - this also includes thinly veiled 'What's My Car Worth?' threads and "Who Can Sell Me A . . ." posts. Broken elbow is a pain but still trying to push on.

Forgot to loosen the hub nuts while the car was still in one piece so Si to the rescue again, popped the arms round there and he whizzed them off.

Not as bad as the fronts but I'll still renew everything and repaint. Wheel bearings seem ok, so I'll leave those and just replace the seals. Handbrake cables are in good condition, just a bit of crud needs cleaning off the metal end and bracket and repainting.

I've ordered new shoes, fitting kit, cylinders and the front oil seals. Haing difficulty locating the o-ring that goes behind the bearing cover at the minute, nobody seems to have any stock. Also ordered new bushes for the a-arms and spring plates.

Crusty gearbox mount off and new one ordered.

Be careful undoing those nuts, they have a habit of shearing off. And you dont want to do there. I usually split them and buy new ones.
